Alexis de Portneuf cheeses travel the country with VIA Rail

​To promote its line of products nationwide, Alexis de Portneuf created a partnership with VIA Rail, enabling its cheeses to hop aboard and travel the country.

“The 150th anniversary of Canada provided the perfect context to launch this partnership,” explained Pamela Nalewajek, Vice-President, Strategic Business Development – Deli, Fine Cheeses & Imports at Alexis de Portneuf. “Our star product was named in honour of an iconic Canadian figure, Sir Wilfrid Laurier. As prime minister, he played a significant role in the growth of the country, notably through the construction of a transcontinental railway.”  

The two brands are thus celebrating their national pride with one voice from coast to coast.

The campaign, which is targeted at frequent travellers, runs all summer in grocery stores, in the Ottawa train station and in VIA Rail Business lounges across the country.
