Mandate

The goal of Maisons des Jeunes, a Quebec youth centre organization, is to empower youth, a mission that they successfully accomplish. However, many adults and young people had a distorted view of these youth centres because they didn’t properly understand the important role they play. Our mandate was to change people’s minds and create a brand that is more cohesive and able to better highlight the positive nature of the organization’s mission and achievements. To do so, we created a new tagline: “En avant la jeunesse! (Empowering youth!)” and a new visual identity that gave each centre its own colour, a symbol of its uniqueness.

The result: the project won Bronze in the “Complete Rebrand/Redesign” category at the international Summit Creative Awards in 2016.

And the Maisons des Jeunes remain as popular and important as ever!
