What you should know

La Traversée is a support and psychotherapy centre for victims of sexual abuse. For more than 40 years, the organization has provided support to Montérégie residents of all ages and genders.

In 2024, La Traversée coordinated and hosted the Centre de services intégrés en violence sexuelle (CIViS), Montérégie’s first integrated services centre for victims of sexual abuse.

Armed with its legitimacy and 40 years of serving the community, La Traversée wanted to announce its renewed leadership role to its clientele and donor base. To kick off the initiative, the organization turned to Bob to launch a strategic reflection process before ultimately revamping its positioning, mission, vision and identity.

Solution

What we did

We began by collaborating with La Traversée to develop its strategic positioning, then set to work on creating a new brand platform that included a renewed identity and foundations. Next, we built a communications plan that highlights La Traversée’s 40th anniversary.

The organization’s new identity is accompanied by a redesigned logo, which is now more representative of La Traversée’s multidisciplinary approach to providing support, with a new colour palette. A complete brand universe composed of a rich variety of graphic elements and a well-defined photography direction to enhance recognition for the organization was then rolled out in a range of B2C and B2B tools.

Our team is proud to have given La Traversée a boost and provided the tools necessary to communicate and shine across the entire province.

We developed content pillars that La Traversée can now use for its communication, education and hosting initiatives with the community.

We also built a unique universe and personality that highlights the organization’s expertise, legitimacy, authenticity and goodwill.

This project has allowed La Traversée to strengthen its image, impact and importance in the Quebec landscape by positioning it as an organization that works for society and offers the hope of recovery to victims of sexual abuse.
