In order to encourage people to discover the Quebecois and Franco-Canadian books and publishers they represent, distributor Dimedia turned to Bob to develop an advertising campaign that would engage with readers directly. By combining a media strategy and creative approach that highlighted various areas of interest, the offensive reached a broad audience, inviting consumers to discover more via the campaign’s dedicated web directory. With more than 400 works categorized according to readers’ tastes, the directory allowed each user to enjoy a personalized experience, as if they were visiting a bookstore.
The campaign also took advantage of exceptional visibility by using several types of media, generating more than 10 million impressions and 53,300 new users won over by local must-reads.
